I’m sure if you are not taking backup of your content and template in your Blogger blog then you will hate yourself later. Because you are making a blunder. In WordPress, one can easily take automated backups of their files and databases through various plugins such as Updraftplus. Unlike WordPress, you have to regularly take backups of your template and content in Blogger Platform. If anything goes wrong, you will be on the safe side.

How to Backup Your Content and Template in Blogger Platform?
First of all, let’s start with blogger template. Before changing your blogger template you can take backup of your current template to safeguard your blog.
● How to Backup Your Blogger Template?
Step #1: Visit Blogger.com and login to your account with Email ID and Password.
Step #2: Now click on “Theme” from the left sidebar.
Step #3: You will see a “Backup/Restore” button on the top right portion of the display.
Step #4: Now you have to click on “Download Full Template” button.
That’s it. You have successfully downloaded your Blogger template. Now you can use this .xml file to restore your blogger template at any time. This .xml file may contain all your gadgets that you are currently using.
● How to Backup Your Blog Posts in Blogger?
If your content violates Blogger TOS then Blogger can delete your blog at any time. So, It is very necessary to take periodic backup of your blog posts and pages.
Step #1: Go to Settings –> Other
Step #2: Under “Import and Backup” section, click on “Backup Content” button. After clicking on it, it will show a pop-up (see the above screenshot).
Step #3: Now you need to click on “Save to your computer“

1. Do not publish adult content in your blog.

3. Don’t try to publish copied content in your blog.
4. Do not publish personal and confidential information in your Blogger blog.
5. Don’t comment on other people’s blog as a way to promote your blog. In other words, spamming can spoil your blog rapidly.
