Taking to Twitter, Bhutan Prime Minister wrote, “Overjoyed to hear His Majesty pronounce Your Excellency Modiji’s @narendramodi name for the highest civilian decoration, Ngadag Pel gi Khorlo. @PMOIndia @Indiainbhutan.”

The Prime Minister’s Office of Bhutan wrote in a Facebook post, “PMO India HM highlighted all the unconditional friendship and support Modiji extended over the years and particularly during pandemic. Bhutan Prime Minister Lotay Tshering also congratulated the people of his country on the 114th National Day of Bhutan and said, “To all the award recipients on this auspicious day, I offer heartfelt Tashi Delek.
