Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner Tests Positive for COVID-19 | Mayor of Houston turned Corona positive, said – I did not feel well overnight

Digital Desk, Houston. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner has announced that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus amid the spread of the Omicron variant across the United States.

He tweeted late on Friday night and said, “This afternoon I came to know that I am coronavirus positive. I didn’t feel well overnight and thought I was suffering from allergies or a sinus infection, so I decided to get tested before starting my daily schedule. I canceled all my tours and work after being corona positive. I have isolated myself.

According to a report, the daily average of positive cases at Texas Medical Center more than tripled last week from 232 to 721, while Houston Methodist on Tuesday reported nearly five times the number of positive cases in its system compared to the previous week.
