Omicron alert rajasthan ready to face every situation know all corona related medical updates rjsr

Jaipur. In view of the Omicron variant of Corona spreading across the country, the Rajasthan government has fully geared up to combat it. Under this, focusing on the shortcomings of the second wave, this time the state government has done micro planning at the micro level. While medical institutions have been strengthened at the village level, Rajasthan is ready to become self-reliant regarding oxygen. Apart from government and private medical institutions across the state, now 1600 HDU beds have been established at 332 community health centers. Apart from this, 544 beds have also been prepared at the PMO level.

After the outcry in the second wave of Corona, special focus has been given on the health sector in Rajasthan. In view of the pressure on medical institutions in urban areas in the second wave, now health facilities have been developed at the village level itself. Apart from government and private medical institutions across the state, now 1600 HDU beds have been established at 332 community health centers. Apart from this, 544 beds have also been established at PMO level.

Three-tier health services infrastructure prepared
The personnel of these medical institutions have been trained in view of the third wave of corona. Apart from this, health services are being provided in three different categories in the state. In these, Kovid dedicated hospitals have been made. These are big government and private hospitals where all kinds of facilities are available. A total of 13 thousand 595 beds are present in 56 dedicated hospitals across the state. Of these, 9078 are for bed positive patients. 4517 beds have been earmarked for suspected patients. 5685 are oxygen supported beds. There are 1399 ICU beds and 788 ventilator beds.

Dedicated Kovid Health Center prepared
Dedicated Kovid Health Centers have been prepared at number two. There are 47 dedicated Kovid Health Centers across the state. These centers have been made up of private hospitals, sub-district health centers and CHCs. There are a total of 4257 beds in these. Out of these, 2897 beds are for positive patients and 1360 beds have been earmarked for suspected patients. Of these, 1343 beds are oxygen supported beds. There are 303 ICU and 109 ventilator beds.

81 covid centers across the state
There is a Kovid center at number three. There are 81 Kovid centers across the state. These are the centers where health facilities were developed to keep patients in view of the increasing cases of corona. These Kovid centers include hotels, resorts, dharamsalas and universities. If there is a third wave, then these can also be used. There are total 7638 beds in such centers. Of these, 3221 beds are for positive patients and 447 for suspected patients.

Rajasthan self-sufficient for oxygen
At the peak of the third wave of Corona, about three and a half lakh patients are expected to arrive in the state. In such a situation, the availability of oxygen is also a big challenge. The state government has ensured the availability of one thousand metric tonnes of oxygen. The state government has also made a provision of 25 percent subsidy on investment of more than one crore under the special package for the establishment of oxygen generation plant.

More than 40 thousand oxygen concentrators
For self-sufficiency in medical oxygen in the state, more than 40 thousand oxygen concentrators have been made available to the primary health centers. Along with this, 450 oxygen production plants have been prepared in the state. The work of 31 new Liquid Medical Oxygen Storage Tanks is under process. There is a plan to build liquid medical oxygen storage tanks at all district headquarters. Of these, 18 Liquid Medical Oxygen Storage Tanks have been installed so far. A target has been set to increase the number of oxygen supported beds in medical institutions to about 60 thousand beds.

Oxygen concentrator bank in every district
Oxygen concentrator banks have been set up in each district. So that when the patient needs, he can take the free oxygen concentrator from the doctor’s prescription to his home.

separate ward for omicron
So far 17 Omicron patients have arrived in Rajasthan. However, now all Omicron patients have turned negative. But in view of the increasing cases of Omicron worldwide, the Health Department has given instructions to make separate wards for Omicron patients in all the districts. More and more RTPCR tests are being done at the airport for passengers coming from other countries.

Genome sequencing is being accelerated
Along with this, genome sequencing of all positive patients is being done. Intensive contact tracing of people who have got the infection is being done. Separate isolation wards have been set up in medical colleges and district hospitals for the treatment of Omicron infected patients.

emphasis on vaccination
Ensuring 100% vaccination of people aged 18 years and above is being ensured. In the state from November 3 to November 30, under the ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign, door-to-door vaccination has been done by identifying people deprived of the first and second doses of Kovid. Now arrangements have also been made for ‘on the spot’ vaccination. If 10 or more than 10 people want to get vaccinated, then they can call on the Chief Minister’s helpline number 181 and get the vaccination done at the desired place and time.
