New Delhi: Terrorists on Sunday hurled a grenade towards a police post near Post Office in Jammu Kashmir’s Pulwama, news agency ANI reported.

The incident occurred at Pulwama’s Main Chowk, news agency PTI reported officials as saying. They informed that two police personnel were injured in the explosion and they have been hospitalised.

This comes days after terrorists killed a civilian and a policeman in Jammu and Kashmir in two separate incidents on December 22.

While the civilian, Rouf Ahmad, was shot in Nawakadal locality of Srinagar, terrorists opened fire on a police assistant sub-inspector (ASI) in Bijbehara area of ​​the south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The ASI, identified as Mohammad Ashraf, succumbed to his injuries at Bijbehara hospital.
