After acquiring five seats in Bihar’s adjoining districts by cutting the Muslim vote bank, Asaduddin Owaisi’s next aim is West Bengal. His party, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), has claimed that the polls will be held there as well. In this competition, the door will be kept open for Mamata Banerjee and other opposition parties, the party spokesperson said today. Furthermore, they allege that the ruling party has made Muslims ‘fools’ in West Bengal.
TMC’s Lok Sabha leader Sudip Banerjee’s response was, “It is clear that there is a vested concern behind the confused attempt to mislead the minority people in West Bengal.” I have seen Owaisi in the Lok Sabha. I am aware of his political role.” Opposition groups asked for a boycott of the BJP. The question is, will not the same thing happen in West Bengal? Because, if the Owaisi party fights in different Muslim-majority seats in the state, it will be Amit Shah who will benefit by dividing the anti-BJP Muslim vote.
