How to Fill RTO Form 26 for Duplicate RC

RTO Form 26 is commonly referred to as an application for the issuance of a duplicate certificate of registration. 

If the owner of a car would like to obtain a duplicate copy of the vehicle's registration certificate (Registration Certificate) then he has to send RTO form 26 with his registration authority.

If the vehicle is under the lease, hire purchase or hypothecation, there is no need for an objection certification ( NOC ) from the lender is required. 

If the financier is unwilling to provide a no objection certificate, then they must provide the reason that led to their refusal of the registration certificate in RTO Form 26. 

Documents Required: Written off, soiled, torn or mutilated RC. No objection certificate from financier. Address proof of vehicle owner. Driving license copy of the vehicle owner. Vehicle insurance copy.
