The fire broke out in an unnamed medical facility within Renigunta in the Tirupati district.
A doctor's daughter and son fell severely ill during the incident and were tragically killed in the process of treatment with the doctor. The details are as follows: Doctor Ravi Shankar Reddy is running an institution named Karti Keya in the Bhagat Singh Colony in the town.
His family lives on the upper floor of the hospital's building. The fire started on the floor on which the family of the doctor resided in the early hours of Sunday. Firefighters believe that the two children died because of asphyxiation from inhaling carbon monoxide. There were no burns on the body.
The fire incident at Renigunta Hospital was complicated because of the lack of ventilation. The building was damaged in a large way building as well to equipment as well as the furniture and woodwork such as curtains and sofas within every space.
