Since I was at least 7 or 8 years old, I’ve been playing games, beginning with the PS2. The Getaway and Max Payne were the first video games I bought. I’ve been gaming my whole life; you might tell I don’t have any (lol), and I understand that I’m 17 now I’m 18 next month, and I’m gaming every day.
So now for your question to answer! Gaming is a big part of my life; not only does it take me away from this cruel and crappy existence and this shit-show that we call “the Millennial Era,” but it gives me a sense of achievement, fun, and opportunity to experience many things in real life that you can never see (referring to God of War); that’s worlds, imaginary characters, and events.
Not only that but for learning, it’s a perfect simulation. I’ve been playing games my entire life, as I said before, and I’ve learned from playing videogames than I’ve ever done in school and next month, I’ll graduate school! For instance, Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey (or any game of Assassins Creed) teaches me about life in Ancient Egypt and Greece (or past life elsewhere), learning their customs and religions, or teaching me much more about Norse mythology and their heavens and hells and Gods and Goddesses in God of War, or any of the Battlefield games that experience the troubles and terrifying reality of Norse mythology and their heavens and hells and Goddesses.
I have gained an interest in developing video games across my many encounters, an influence to start travelling in the real world to meet new people and see new things, and an interest in photography.
How did I grow an interest in video game photography? Some videogames have a picture mode that allows players to capture unforgettable and incredible moments within their games. A community focused on this called virtual photography that you can experience on any social media site. I have been actively involved in this for two years and counting.
