Himalaya MoU | Signed Between IISWC and Sparsh Himalaya | Himalaya Wellness Company in 2022: The Himalayas span the land ruled by India, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, and China. The Himalayas run indefinitely for approximately 1550 miles (2,500 km) in Asia creating barriers between the Plateau in Tibet in the northern part and the plains of alluvial water in the Indian subcontinent to the south.
The Himalayas are the most awe-inspiring MoUntains in the world. They are renowned for their majestic elevations, jagged peaks with steep sides valleys, alpine glaciers deep river gorges and a variety of elevational belts which display various ecological connections of flora, fauna and climate. - The Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) is a contract between 2 ( bilateral) or more ( multilateral) parties. It signifies a convergence of intentions between parties and outlines the intention of a common line of actions.
- Recently, the Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (ICAR-IISWC) and Sparsh Himalaya have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to execute inter-organizational collaboration activities to aid in the promotion of the Himalayan ecosystem, people, and resources.
- In his address, Dr Madhu stated the principal goal of the MoU is to promote and encourage collaboration and encourage mutually-interested programs that promote the needs of the Himalayan ecosystems as well as the related intellectual and cultural development. Dr Madhu also stressed that the MoU will provide the necessary motivation for the highly famous and beautiful Himalayas.
- Ms Seema highlighted her belief that technological successful stories, as well as the videos, short films and technical exhibits and descriptions produced by the ICAR-IISWC, will be shown on the Channel of the Sparsh Himalaya to reach a wider audience and increase knowledge of relevant and scientifically based information to the various different groups of stakeholders and target groups.
- The possible areas for collaboration are training, research and capacity-building, as well as sharing experiences and knowledge management within the field of rural development as well as natural resource-based sustainable livelihoods promotion.
- As of now, both organizations are working together to develop a joint strategy for a major conference to be held in January 2022 to discuss the technological achievements and successes of research and development organizations that are working to improve the well-being of the Himalayas.

- The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by Himalaya Wellness Company, Dehradun and Dolphin (P.G.) Institute of Biomedical & Natural Sciences, Dehradun on 2nd February 2022 in order to encourage collaboration between academics and researchers within mutually beneficial areas.
- As a result of the above MoU both organizations from now on, have agreed to exchange information about academics such as publications, materials and materials and to hold conjoint workshops, seminars and classes for faculty, students, and employees, to encourage and execute collaborative activities.
- The MoU was signed by Dr S. Farooq, President, Himalaya Wellness Company and Dr Shailja Pant, Principal and Dr Versha Parcha, Chairperson of the RAC Dolphin Institute.
- It’s a worthwhile step in bridges between academia and industry.
