Talking to the media about the security arrangements on Republic Day, Asthana said that 27,723 personnel of Delhi Police, including 71 DCPs, 213 ACPs and 753 inspectors, have been deployed to guard the parade. 65 companies of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) have been deployed to assist them. He said that in the last two months, the Delhi Police in coordination with other security agencies has further strengthened the anti-terror measures.
